Supporting the Humane Society

Why we work with the Humane Society

The Humane Society of Broward County maintains a strong commitment to supporting its community with a variety of clinic, training, and shelter services that benefit Broward County’s residents while helping to promote animal welfare throughout South Florida.

6.5 million pets enter animal shelters throughout the U.S. every year, and REAL RES works to help the Humane Society find those animals new forever homes. A portion of every paid tax and lien search performed by REAL RES goes to the Humane Society of Broward County. Since April 2019, our company has donated over $14,000 to support the adoption of shelter pets.

Additionally, we take part in the annual Walks for the Animals and engage in various giveaways to help raise awareness on animal adoptions.

Frito’s Story

Originally from Save A Sato in Puerto Rico, not much was known about Frito when he came to our attention. Not his life history, and not how he lost his front leg.

But was known proved to be enough for the Glazewski family from central Florida, and despite the 200-miles that separated them from the Broward County shelter, they didn’t hesitate to make the trip to adopt him.

Now Frito enjoys walks, curling up on comfy beds, and being around people in his new forever home, and REAL RES continues to help the Humane Society find homes for other shelter pets.
